Resolution
Associate a Windows XP driver to the Printer Agent if you are
attempting to install an iPrint Printer to an XP workstation.
- Go to iManager
- iPrint -> Manage Printer
- Select the Printer
- Drivers -> Windows XP Drivers
- Select a driver, click Apply
If there is not a driver to select, then upload a driver using the Manage Driver Store task.

Additional Information
The iPrint Client requires that a driver be associated to the
Printer Agent for the installation to succeed. With iPrint
hosted on a NetWare server, administrators can place all their
print drivers in the Windows 2000 location, and that would satisfy
the driver association requirement for both Windows 2000 and
Windows XP workstations. In other words, Windows 2000 and XP
are considered the same operating system. With iPrint hosted
on Linux, that is not true. Windows 2000 and XP recognize the
drivers only for that specific OS assignment.
