Workstations not added to a Group when imported

Environment

Novell ZENworks Desktop Management 7 - ZDM7 Automatic Workstation Import (AWSI)
Novell ZENworks Desktop Management 6.5 - ZDM6.5 Automatic Workstation Import (AWSI)

Situation

When a workstation is imported it is not automatically added to a Group as per the Import Policy Groups tab.
Workstation Group Object has a forward slash, "/", character in the name.  IE, Win2K/XP Workstation Group.Workstations.Novell

Resolution

AWSI does not support the "/" character in the Workstation Group object and will not automatically add a workstation to that group.
