Environment

Novell ZENworks Patch Management Agent
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition

Situation

Agent registration fails and the PatchLinkUpdateAgent.log file contains HTTP Error Code 403 (Forbidden) entries.
In another case an SSL certificate was installed after the ZPM server was installed.

Resolution

Follow the steps outlined in PatchLink Knowledgebase ID  42 for either HTTP or HTTPS.
