Slow login when using roaming profile and redirected folders

Situation

Logging on to a Windows 2003 Service Pack 1 server from a Windows XP Service Pack 2 computer results in a 20 second delay if the roaming profile includes a redirected folder.

Resolution

This problem occurs because of a bug in the Ntlanman.dll file.
