IMAP / POP no longer work after upgrade to GW7.0.1

Environment

Novell BorderManager 3.8
Novell GroupWise 7.0.1
Novell GroupWise Internet Agent (GWIA) 7.0.1

Situation

BorderManager is running on the same server as a GroupWise secondary domain and Internet Agent. After the upgrade everything worked well expect for IMAP and POP. A connection to port 143 / 110 can be made and the greeting is immediately returned however once Enter is pressed there are huge delays until GWIA answers, somewhere between 3 and 30 seconds.

Resolution

Currently the setting "set filter local loopback packets" needs to be changed from On (this is the default) to Off in BorderManager.
