Agent management center is displaying error message could not authenticate

Environment

Novell ZENworks Patch Management 6.2 Agent Management Center - AMC

Situation

Attempt to add a new credential to the Agent Management Center fails.
ERROR: "Could not authenticate credential.".

Resolution

This error occurs when the Agent Management Center cannot immediate validate credentials through it's own user database. In order to skip the automatic credential validation please follow these steps:
1. Open the Agent Management Center on the designated PC.
2. Select File and then Configuration from the top menu bar.
3. On the Configuration menu there is a check box on the right hand side of the screen named Verify Credentials, remove the check mark from that box.
4. Attempt to add your credentials once again. Since the automatic verification has been removed you should be able to successfully add your credentials and proceed with your Domain scan.
