Situation

Error: -714 trying to create Novell Identity Manager DriverSet

When trying to create a DriverSet in iManager the -714 error was shown and the DriverSet creation failed.

Resolution

This error is caused by a failure in the software on the IDM server or a lack of software on the IDM server. The IDM server also needs to have real replicas of the container where the DriverSet is contained. Be sure IDM was installed properly and eDirectory was restarted (if prompted). Also be sure that schema is extended for the DirXML classes and attribute.
