Using the following syntax in a 4.1 login script being executed by the GUI Login on a Windows 95 workstation running NetWare Client32 with CLIENT32.NLM and CLIENT32.MSG:
The above MAP command will correctly map the S Drive when logging in from DOS, Windows v3.1, or a DOS box in Windows 95, but will give the following errors when executed from Client32 GUI login:
LOGIN-4.20.21-890: The specified server is unknown.
LOGIN-4.20.21-430: The following drive mapping operation could not be completed. [S:="RUGRAT/SYS:"]
The error code was 89ff.
Using the angle brackets around the variable name allows the command to be parsed without error using the GUI Login from NetWare Client32 with Windows 95
