Q: How do I get a copy of the startup commands output to a file or printer? Also, how do I get a hard copy of the modules that are loaded on the server when the AUTOEXEC.NCF file is executed?

A: The CONLOG.NLM provides this service. It writes a text file to the SYS:ETC\CONSOLE.LOG file. After the module is unloaded you can view or print out the file. A more detailed explanation is found in the CONLOG.EXE README file.

The CONLOG.NLM ships with NetWare 3.12, and it can be found in the CONLOG.EXE file for NetWare 3.11. You can only load the module in the AUTOEXEC.NCF file.

The CONLOG.EXE is available from your Novell Authorized Service Center (NASC), Novell reseller, or from one of Novell's electronic distribution tools (for example, Support Connection Web Site (https://support.novell.com/) or the Network Support Encyclopedia on CD-ROM).
