Symptom

Host Server attribute shows server name instead of virtual cluster server name for volume in ConsoleOne

Drive mapping to cluster volume displays shows mapping to HOST server volume in windows explorer

Change

Replaced a faulty cluster node with new hardware

Fix

Manually reassign the HOST server attribute to the correct virtual cluster server object using ConsoleOne.

Note

Due to the fact that the field that needs editing is read only we need to change it using the OTHER Tab In ConsoleOne:

Procedure:
1) Properties of the affected cluster volume
2) Page Options
3) Disable General Tab and confirm changes
4) Re-Enter properties affected cluster Volume
5) Select Other tab
6) Select HOST SERVER attribute
7) Browse to correct NCP Server Object
8) Confirm changes.
