The following rrror message appears when trying to modify a Step in a Test Case:

Failed to post DESSTEPS values

Cause

Oracle introduced a bug in 11.2.0.2.  The bug limits schema length to 29 characters but QC limits it to 30. 

Fix

The solution to this problem is to install the following Oracle patch:

Patch 11822454: DRG-10607 "INDEX META DATA IS NOT READY YET FOR QUEUING DML" SINCE 11.2.0.2 UPGR

A workaround is to copy the project to a new project with a schema name no longer than 29 characters.
